Everyday Bold Lips Make-up

It's about time I begin to show some of my style on here and for just now a make-up look is going to have to do! I am obsessed with bright bold lips and I hardly go out without this key statement, the winter blues are certainly perked up with a pop of colour. So here is my current everyday make-up, hope you enjoy!

1

Start with a clean face and apply your favourite moisturiser and primer, the primer I've used here is Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.

2.3

Next I conceal my redness and blemishes using Mac's Pro Longwear concealer in NW20 with a Real Techniques Pointed Foundation Brush.

Using my Real Techniques Buffing  Brush I buff in my concealer to make sure it is as even as possible then I move onto my foundation. With the same brush I take my Revlon Colorstay foundation and apply that anywhere I feel I need to even out my skin tone.

7.8

9

At this point I apply Carmex to make sure my lips are moisturised for when I apply my lipstick later.
10

To make sure my foundation and concealer stay on all day I set it with the Mac Blot Powder in Medium.

11.12

Next I take the Bourjois chocolate bronzer and apply that to the sides of my nose, along my cheekbones, on my chin and my temples with a big fluffy brush.

13.14With my face finished for just now I then apply the Urban Decay Primer potion, my holy grail eye primer, to my upper and lower lid. Following that I apply some of Maybelline's Colour Tattoo in 'Tough as Taupe' over my eyelid blending upwards, just over my crease.

Taking the Rimmel London Glam Eyes palette in 'Brixton Brown' I sweep the light brown shade all over my upper lid and under my eyes so that a shadow is created. I also LOVE the Urban Decay shadow in 'Tease' from their Naked 2 palette.

Next, eyeliner! My go to eyeliner is this Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof one, it stays on all day and blends out beautifully. I draw a line from the inner corner of my eye, following my lash line and I finish with a small flick. As quickly as I can I smudge the line out, because once this liner sets it doesn't budge.

22.25

Using a pencil brush I take the darkest shade in the Rimmel palette and place that on top of my eyeliner and under my eyes.

To finish off my eyes I apply one coat of Benefit's They're Real mascara and at least three coats of the Colossal mascara by Maybelline, I like 'em big.

31.32

My eyebrows need a desperate hand and for this I reach for L'oreal's Super Liner for eyebrows, I'm not really fussy about eyebrow pencils but this one seems to do the job.

33.34

To finish my skin I take Benefit's Hoola Bronzer (this one is in 'The Bronze of Champions' kit) on the Real Techniques Contour Brush and apply this under my cheekbones. I'd also like to add that I totally underestimated the pigmentation of the Hoola Bronzer, a tiny bit of this really does go a long way.

35.36

37.38

I also apply this bronzer, sparingly, as a blusher on a contour brush to the apples of my cheeks.

39.40

Finally my lips. Using a nude lip liner I line my lips to stop my lipstick from bleeding out.

41.42

With my current favourite lipstick, Topshop's 'Straight Ace', I fill in my lips. I do this straight from the bullet because I find lip brushes a bit too much hassle!

So here's the finished look!

And  a quick before and after...

I hope you enjoyed this make-up!
